Showcase-of-Talent Holiday Sing-a-Long
(Lyrics on Screen)
Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
La Hacienda Rec Center
Vintage Film Clips of the #1 Songs of the 60s plus Holiday Sing-a-Long (Lyrics on Screen) and Dancing, an evening of music to benefit the SEEDS OF HOPE.
I've selected the following karaoke, sing-a-long type songs, with the lyrics on screen, to help us get into the holiday spirit: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Oh Christmas Tree, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, White Christmas, and Where Have All the Flowers Gone. The last one is not really a holiday song but it's a great song made famous by the Kingston Trio, easy to sing, and I like it.
I've also picked out some great dance film clips showing some very talented dancers. This is in addition to the vintage films of the performers of the 60s doing their Number One hits.
The net proceeds from your admission ticket will go to the "Seeds of Hope" (Wildwood Pantry & Soup Kitchen) to help those less fortunate than us.
Bring your supper or snacks and it's BYOB including alcohol. Tables accommodate 6 and it's open seating, first come, first served. Get a group together to enjoy the night or come by yourself and make some new friends.
The show is 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with an intermission, at La Hacienda Rec. Center. Doors open at 5:30, so come early to select the best seats.
Open to Village Residents or approved Guests with ID, ONLY.
Tickets are $15.00 at the door or $12.50 pp online (order via website:
